Hello!

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, I’m one of three — a proud triplet and the son of Quentin and Carol Adams. After earning a degree in Biochemistry from UT Austin, I found my way into the world of medical devices at Cyberonics (now LivaNova), which opened the door to an exciting role in clinical/ quality engineering. I later joined a robotics startup that was acquired by Zimmer Biomet, where I gained invaluable experience in technical customer service and working with hospitals to accomplish programmatic growth goals. Most importantly, I gained exposure to incredible leadership under mentors like Austin Mueller, Mike Van Winkle, and Chase Idleman. My growing interest in business led me to pursue an MBA at Rice University, where I served as co-president of the Rice Healthcare Association and joined Synaptive, a medical device company with a focus on robotic exoscopy. Following my MBA, I stepped into a strategic operations role at Texas Children’s Hospital — a place close to my heart after nearly a decade of working alongside them in the OR setting as a clinical representative. With the support of my family, close friends, and incredible wife, I eventually followed the entrepreneurial itch and founded Impact Consulting.

More than anything in my career, I have come to recognize the value of true teamwork and leveraging the unique skills and abilities of others to achieve common goals. It may be cheesy, but even intellectual titans like Isaac Newton reference their reliance on others when it comes to accomplishing something great with his famous aphorism: “If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants.” I feel strongly that Impact's ability to drive success for the small businesses of Houston will be driven by a collaborative effort with small business leaders, the Impact Team, and the Strategic Advisors of Impact Consulting. Together, there's no limit to what we can accomplish.
